They’ll explore different types of maps—political, physical, and topographic—and learn their unique uses. Students will master map basics like scale, compass rose, and legend, and practice calculating latitude and longitude to pinpoint exact locations. As the week unfolds, they’ll dive into geographic features like landforms, bodies of water, and climate regions.
