Description
Canterbury Summers offers six weeks of day camp for RISING K-5th grade students. Families have the option to drop in for one week or book them all. Canterbury Summers offer an experiential and age-appropriate program including: Skill-building on facilities across Canterbury’s dynamic 37-acre campus, from the playground to the pond. Leadership and character development are woven into daily activities. These life skills such as respect, kindness, communication, and cooperation are presented in a special experiential curriculum designed to help students thrive. Canterbury's life skills curriculum is based on the character and leadership development program pioneered by Kieve-Wavus Education and outlined in their guide, "Kindness and Respect". Most importantly: lots of PLAY and FUN! Dates and Costs: Camp sessions in 2025 will be from June 16 - Aug. 1, except for the week of July 4. Please note the first week of camp will be four days. We will not have a camp on Thurs. June 19 in honor of the Juneteenth holiday. Camp hours are 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with extended morning and afternoon care available from 7:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Canterbury Summers will offer an early bird price of $315 a week until the end of May. After June 1st, camps will cost $330 a week. The exception will be the first week of camp, which is $250 for early bird and then it will be $265 for the week due to the shortened week.
