Description
SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST RUNNING! Learning, Running, Fitness, Fun! This empowerment program uses running as a tool to teach invaluable lessons about effort, character, mindset, and more. This program is not a track or cross country club that is focused exclusively on running. Our approach to running is GAME-based and kid-friendly. Each class in our innovative curriculum teaches a character building principle and a running skill. Examples of empowerment principles include: We teach lessons such as using Power Words (strong, mighty, fierce, etc.) to encourage ourselves and others, choosing positive thoughts, about competition and handling disappointment, teamwork, leadership, and so much more. Examples of running skills include: We teach warming up and cooling down, pacing, posture, form, and other fundamentals of running. This confidence- and character-building program is for all kids willing to try and be their best. We work with children of all fitness levels, including those who don’t consider themselves athletes or runners. We accomplish this by focusing on fun and challenging games and drills. We use unique variations of freeze tag, relay races, follow the leader, and more with our own twist. What to bring
No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
BEHAVIOR: Milestones Running Club, LLC reserves the right to release, without refund of program fees, any child whose behavior becomes unmanageable. REFUNDS: Refunds will not be issued for cancellations or withdrawals once the program has begun.

Our empowerment program uses running and physical fitness as a tool to teach confidence, grit, and strength of character. This program is for children of all fitness levels. This program's tried-and-true curriculum teaches kids that not every goal or skill comes easily, but they can accomplish so much through positivity and hard work. Each class in our program covers a different running skill and empowerment principle. We play games, learn about running, do running games and drills, learn about mindset, and more.
