Description
*** Counselor-in-training (CIT) is a 2-week session only*** Enjoy the excitement of camp, while learning the skills to become a leader! Participate as a counselor-in-training (CIT) in one of several camps. You’ll assist counselors with games and play, connect with campers and support their joyful exploration of camp. You’ll also get to do hands-on agricultural work, animal care, and craft activities. Come and gain deep bonds with other CIT’s through community conversation, farm work, creative expression and leadership growth through participation in a variety of settings! Does your child enjoy being helpful, assisting and/or leading tasks alone or with others? Does your child enjoy being with young children? Does your child enjoy meeting and working with other young people their own age? Does your child enjoy crafting and/or teaching? Does your child enjoy working with animals? If the answer is yes to most of these questions, your rising 6th - 9th grader may be an excellent CIT! ***Financial Assistance: This camp session is eligible for support through the need-based John Dwyer Memorial Scholarship Fund. To apply, use code "JDSF2525CIT" at checkout to pay the $25 scholarship application fee. A link to the scholarship application will be included in the registration form. The application deadline is February 28, and all applicants will be notified of the results by March 10.***
