DescriptionCampers will explore the creative process of combining several different art materials to make unique, multi-layered creations. From pencil, paint and collage to fabric, feathers and found objects, they’ll experiment with texture, color and form. The result? Art that feels like pure magic!
In addition to this week’s focus, campers will explore other process-based creative arts projects. And we’ll have plenty of time to play, chill and cool off built into our days. On Friday before pickup, families are invited to a celebratory showcase of the week’s creations.
This program is for campers in Grades 2-5. If you have a camper in grades 6-8 who might be interested in this session, please reach out to Lisa Chodos about signing up as a camp helper!
Led by Creative Arts Facilitator and Hartsbrook parent Melissa Renzi, this one-of-a-kind offering draws from her twenty years of experience as an artist, writer and teacher.
