Description
Calling all wilderness explorers who want to build wilderness survival and bushcraft skills! Get ready for an epic adventure where campers become forest-savvy superheroes while still enjoying horseback riding almost every day. They'll learn amazing age-appropriate outdoor skills like building their own survival shelter (like a real-life fort!), discovering which plants are safe to eat, and creating their very own bow and arrow from nature's treasures. Our young adventurers will learn wilderness first aid, hike through forest trails, and learn how to stay safe in the great outdoors. Plus, they'll put their new skills to the test with exciting forest challenges and scavenger hunts. This week focuses on resourcefulness and confidence, using nature as the ultimate playground. Perfect for curious explorers who want to learn outdoor skills while having plenty of fun in the forest.
******Please note that Pre-School (Age 3-4) camp runs from 9am-12pm, and that the cost consistent with full-day camp reflects the additional staff required for our pre-school group. Families of preschoolers may add an extended day option for $10/hr up until 3pm.
What to bring
No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
To provide the best possible experience, deposits are used to plan and secure staff for our school and camp seasons.
For this reason, all deposits up to 50% are non-refundable.
Additional Policies:
Homeschool Program: We work hard to meet the needs of each age group, and spend much time intentionally staffing so that each child is well-supported when they are here. For this reason, the days you register for are not transferrable.
Camp: If you do need to cancel due to illness, we are happy to apply your balance to a future program, available camp week, after school club, or school vacation week program.

A Pre-K Through 8 Farm & Forest School, Summer Camp, and Homeschool Program
Wildwood Acres Farm & Forest School is an independent school and summer camp that provides a unique educational experience for children from Pre-K through Grade 8, as well as summer camps and a supplemental homeschool program available Tuesday through Thursday. By immersing students in nature, Wildwood makes academics fun, fosters a deep connection with the environment, and promotes social development and personal growth.
