Description
The American Red Cross' Babysitting Basics is a comprehensive 4-hour course designed to equip new babysitters with the skills and confidence to care for infants and children. The course covers essential topics, including childcare techniques, safety and emergency response, choosing age-appropriate activities, managing behaviors, and starting a babysitting business. Participants complete a final exam, and those who pass receive a printable certificate to share with potential employers. Participants must be 11 years of age by the start of the course.
