Description
After the upcoming fall camping trips, Kathy Muller and I wanted to let you know that we will be offering 10 after-sports ISEE/HSPT test prep tutoring classes to help prepare students for standardized private school entrance exams. Each tutoring class will review essential math and reading/vocabulary concepts and will cover important test-taking strategies for the exams. Students will also be given practice tests from past years to familiarize them with the types of questions they can expect. Kathy and I will be altering class weeks; Kathy will cover Language Arts concepts and I will be covering math concepts. Each tutoring class will cover different (not covered in previous week) concepts to help prepare for the range of subjects in the tests. Classes will be held in Ted’s classroom and the cost of the class is $378 for all 10 classes. The following are dates/times of the 10 classes:
9/9 4:15-5:30 Language Arts with Kathy
9/16 4:15-5:30 Math with Ted
9/23 4:15-5:30 Language Arts with Kathy
10/1 4:15-5:30 Math with Ted ** Note -This class is on a Tuesday because of 8th grade sports games on Monday 9/30

10/28 3:00-4:15 Language Arts with Kathy
11/5 3:00-4:15 Math with Ted

Financial aid is available to families registered with the school. Please email Susan Farr, susan.farr@stanleybps.org prior to signing up for the class if you are a family that receives financial aid and she will send you the discount code.
