Description
Come and draw animals with illustrator Karen Luk! We’ll start with basic drawing techniques to render animals with practical anatomy tips. Then we will combine existing animals to create new creatures. Instructional materials and art supplies are provided in class.

No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
If cancelled by August 23rd, 12 noon, 90% refund of the class payment due to processing. After that, no refunds. In event of instructor absence, prorated refund will be issued based on class time.

About the provider
Manga inspired illustrator who shares traditional drawing techniques to make drawing fun and approachable for all ages.
Karen Luk is a drawer of words, writer of images, and part-time instructor. At state and national conferences, she has presented on manga origins, anime history, and comics as a storytelling medium. The Cartoon Art Museum and Google have exhibited her art work. She has taught drawing workshops at the Cartoon Art Musuem, Yerba Buena Center of the Arts, Google, and Bay Area public libraries. She is a graduate of the California College of Art.
