Description
Focused on inspiring kids to express themselves through movement and play, and building their self-confidence while effectively improving their overall health and well-being, Zumba® Kids classes are designed to be high energy dance parties packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines and all the music kids love, like hip-hop, reggaeton, cumbia and much more. Children will have the opportunity to perform at our end-of-session showcase for family & friends.

Our Zumba® Kids students will have an opportunity to perform on stage at the end of our season on Sunday, Dec 15, 2024 at the Woodside High Performing Arts Center. The actual time of tech and rehearsal is TBD, but for now, please reserve 11:00am-2pm. Updated information will be provided once we narrow down these details. Note that we do not charge an upfront performance fee. However, additional performance-related costs such as costumes & team t-shirts will be handled separately as we get closer to the show. Tickets will also be sold to cover the cost of the Theater.
Kindergarteners who are dismissed earlier and part of an onsite after care program (NKC or Catalyst) will be brought to our class directly by their staff at class time. Students not part of an onsite after care program will need to be picked up at dismissal time and brought back on campus for our program.
Specific Program Details for Roy Cloud:
Program runs on Mondays, from 8/26 - 12/16, including a Stage Performance Opportunity on Sunday, Dec 15. No classes planned for the dates below:
* no class 9/2 for Labor Day
* no class 9/30 for Planning Day and Conferences 10/1-10/4
* no class 10/14 for Indigenous People Day
* no class 11/11 for Veterans Day
* no class 11/25 for Thanksgiving
* show day on Sunday, 12/15

Cancellation policy
Full payment is due upon registration. Capacity is limited. Payment holds your space in our program.
• All requests for refunds must be received in writing 48 hours before start of program. No refunds will be given after sessions have started, as a spot was reserved for your child. Email melody@mariposadance.com
• Programs are subject to cancellation based on enrollment. Programs may be changed.

At Mariposa Dance, we offer programs that focus on developing self-confidence, creativity and youth leadership through music and movement. Look for our Zumba® Kids classes (grades K-3), Generation Pound® classes (grades K-8) and our flagship program, Leadership through Dance™ (grades 4-8) where kids with minimal dance experience have an opportunity to produce a dance showcase together as a team, learning invaluable leadership and teamwork lessons along the way.
