Course Description and Goals
Our Lightsaber Fencing Program focuses on form through technical sequences (pre-choreographed footwork and bladework). Each sequence is designed to focus on one or two main ideas that will help you grow.
Programmed techniques vary in combat efficacy and league legality. However, all movements have been developed as much as possible for efficacy and safety.
Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
1. Execute basic one-handed, two-handed, and dual-wield attacks
2. Execute the movements of the Lightspeed passive defense system
3. Perform basic linear and lateral footwork
4. Demonstrate basic stances and pivots
5. Recognize and replicate safe blade and foot technique
This is a fencing course where your child will learn attacks, parries, and counterattacks. To ensure the safety of your child, we purchased the best-recommended gear recommended by the French Fencing Federation (which acknowledges that Lightsaber Fencing is a sport and encourages the world to participate).
The following gear are being used to ensure the maximum possible protection while allowing your child to have the flexibility to have fun.
Fencing helmet that can withstand 650 Newtons of force. ($75-$150)
Padded Gloves for fingers & wrists ($85+)
Body Armor ($60+)
Arm & Leg Protection ($20+)
Lightsabers ($70+)
Our rental fees cover the usage, cleaning, and maintenance of these. If you would wish to purchase instead of rent, please contact us directly at Info@PVGGlobal.org.

What to bring
No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
WITHDRAWALS, CANCELLATIONS, & REFUND POLICY
For new students (those who have never been with us before), withdrawals/transfers/refund requests must be requested prior to the 2nd activity meeting. A prorated refund will be issued and a $35 processing fee will be incurred.
*Returning students who have joined this class prior to this session (either a previous semester, season, or year) will not be eligible for a refund.
Refund requests after the second class will not be honored.
Full refunds will be issued if a course is cancelled by PVG Education.
Courses not reaching their minimum enrollment will be cancelled.
