Description
During our Upper Grade CodeFu Dojos, students will create a variety of projects from apps/games to personal websites to coding robots to help save real world problems like pollution or overpopulation - beginning with block based languages & continuing to programming languages such as: HTML, Css, .JS, Ruby, & Python. Important Social & Emotional Development themes are incorporated to empower our students to be themselves while changing the world! Students will also have access to our unique Cyber Security Curriculum designed by CodeFu Franchisee, Neil Daswani, Head of Cyber Security and Professor at Stanford University!

SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT MEETS CODING
CodeFu is an After School Computer Science Enrichment and Immersion Program designed by former teachers and software engineers to provide TK - 8th grade with the option to learn Computer Science in the safety and comfort of their schools. Our curriculum goes beyond the introductory Coding Curriculum that School Districts implement and teaches Coding to kids with the best Educational Coding resources available while combining it with National Common Core Standards from English to Mathematics. Taking the discipline seen in Kung Fu, our San Francisco Bay Area After School & Immersion Program teach curriculum that includes: Block Coding, Tangible Coding, the programming languages of: Ruby, Python, Java, HTML, Css, & .Js, and couples it with crucial Common Core Subjects by challenging our students to code everything from Websites to Apps to Games to Robots. Our Coding Classes scaffold these programming, logical, & concentration skills to provide students with Training in the Art of "CodeFu".
