Description
THIS CLASS IS FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE CURRENTLY IN 2ND GRADE (YR 2021-2022),
This advanced math course is targeting tier 1+ students between the 70th-94th percentile.
Students enrolled in the summer math session will continue to build upon skills and concepts taught in 2nd grade and will introduce concepts from 3rd grade. The program will focus on the how and why of math strategies with the goal of strengthening mathematical knowledge and vocabulary with an increased understanding that can be applied to solve multi-step numerical expressions and word problems. Students will have daily opportunities for whole group and small group instruction along with enrichment application of concepts.
