DescriptionYoung chefs will learn hands-on cooking techniques including measuring, cutting, mixing, kneading, whisking and more while creating savories and sweets. We will primarily work in groups of 3 or 4 (and at times as a single group) focusing on following recipes, working cooperatively and safety in the kitchen. Recipes will cover breakfast to bedtime and include favorites from previous sessions as well as soon to be new favorites. Chefs will have an opportunity to sample their creations and occasionally will bring home some treats to share. This class will usually cook or bake the same thing as the Wednesday class.
