Starfire Scratch Coding is a hands-on, project-based class where students learn programming concepts that apply to real-world programming languages by coding games and animations. Learning to code is an essential skill to understand and shape the world that we live in. The process of learning to code teaches kids to think critically and creatively about problems. Kids who learn to code learn how to problem solve, and use logic and systematic reasoning.
Scratch is a visual programming language, where blocks of code are snapped together to create games and animations. Scratch is a robust language that can be used to code complicated games. Kids will learn coding concepts and build their own games and animated stories.

No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
If you would like your child to try a Starfire class, please register and pay online.
If you feel that Starfire is not the right fit, you may withdraw your student within the first two weeks of class.
You will be refunded the registration fee less a $30.00 cancellation fee and the cost of two classes for all cancellations made prior to the third class.
We are unable to process refunds for withdrawals after the two week trial period.
