Description
Denver Fencing Center is excited to offer our Little Fencers class
to the students of Slavens. Participants will have the opportunity
to learn what it takes to become a Jedi, a pirate, or a musketeer
through an introduction to the modern sport of fencing. Students
will learn the fundamentals of fencing in a safe and fun
environment. The instructor will provide lightweight practice
equipment, which is specially made for young children first
learning the sport. Class is open to students in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Come join us for this exciting form of physical and mental
exercise!

About the provider
Denver Fencing Center (DFC) is excited to bring our hour-long Little Fencers class to elementary schools around the metro Denver area. Students in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade will develop agility, strength, and fine muscle control through fencing games and drills. Our classes focus on teaching fencing basics in a fun, non-competitive environment.
Instructors will provide all the necessary equipment for your little fencer. Our children's equipment is made out of durable, lightweight plastic to keep kids safe without making them too tired. Fencers are further equipped with a fencing jacket and a glove to keep them fully protected.
