Description
Does your child need some extra skills support in the areas of reading, spelling, and basic writing skills? Many children have fallen behind in their literacy skills since the return from virtual instruction. In this class, your child will be provided reinforcement of the skills they have learned in their Fundations classes in school. Skills such as reading, spelling, phonics, sight words, and sentence writing will taught using multisensory Fundations curriculum materials and teacher made centers and games.
The Fundations Program focuses on the following literacy skills:
Phonemic awareness
Phonics/ word study
High frequency word study
Reading fluency
Vocabulary
Comprehension strategies
Handwriting
Spelling
Location

No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
