Description
This group is for beginners who never played, just started playing or who know how all the pieces move but may be confused about castling, en passant, stalemate, or pawn promotion. When you learn that then you'll learn stuff you need to know to become at intermediate level. Chess is a valuable tool to help increase a child’s focus, concentration and ability to problem solve. The goal is to ensure that all of the students improve at chess, gain valuable life skills and, most importantly, have fun. Chess players will be assessed on their level.
