Description
Happy Kids Yoga/Tumbling classes encourage a deeper sense of body awareness and interpersonal skills. Alive with flowing sequences, balancing poses, breathing exercises, tumbling skills and creative relaxation techniques, children are sure to awaken to the beauty and strength within. Our classes convey lessons in self-expression, body image, social skills, positive thinking and environmental awareness. Cooperative yoga games inspire empathetic peer interactions which they will carry as a powerful tool into their futures. We also practice yoga style tumbling skills such as front and back rolls, cartwheels, headstands, and handstands. Come join the fun! Due to Covid we will lend out cleaned yoga mats for the session so that children can have their own each time.

About the provider
Providing Specialty classes in Schools and Recreation Centers since 1994
Happy Feet Kids Classes would love to offer a specialty class at your preschool, elementary school or recreation center during the school year, or a week long camp over the Summer or any holiday break! Laura Schifferli, the founder and manager of HFKids started teaching in Southern California in the early 90s under her first business name of The Happy Feet School of Dance, and since then has broadened her class offerings to over 20 different styles of classes, with the list ever growing :) Laura has taken HFKids nationally, currently offering classes in California and North Carolina, and has begun to offer teacher trainings in suburb and metropolitan areas throughout the U.S. Contact Laura at happyfeetkids.net@gmail.com for more information!
