Fun with Bots“Offering hands-on classes that help children explore science and technology”Fun with Bots delivers hands-on classes that help students discover and embrace the growing STEM field through age-appproiate and engaging projects. Our highly regarded program exposes students new programing and technology skiills, while also supporting students in developing their soft skills too. In all of our classes and camps, we actively help students practice key skills like collaboration, innovation, self-advocacy, empathy and inclusion.
Our program is led by certified K-12 teacher, Shauna Beasley, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics with concentrations in Computer Engineering, Literature Studies, and Geology from Auburn University. Ms. Beasley is a certified K-12 teacher with endorsements in Gifted and ELL. She is also Level 3 International Baccalaureate trained and has coached FIRST LEGO League robotics teams since 2006. Ms. Beasley considers teaching and mentoring students her life work and to that end she works passionately to help each individual student realize their full potential from a constructivist educational philosophy and a whole child development perspective
