Mini Sports Clinics

DescriptionCome find out what youth sports at Charles Wright Academy are all about! Our mini sports clinics are geared to help interested students entering 1-3rd grades experience and enjoy a variety of sports while gaining skills, confidence, and making new friends. Sports Clinic: Mini Sports Clinics run from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Youth may join Mini Sports Clinics as a stand-alone activity or an add-on to their summer camp experience. If choosing stand-alone: Please drop your athlete off at the MS Commons by 11:55 a.m. and pick them up by 1:05 p.m. Mini Sports Clinics will be coached by CWA coaches. Registration includes all activities and a snack. Campers must bring their own water bottle. Camps are based on your camper’s rising grade for the upcoming school year.

Summer Camp: After-Care

DescriptionCWA After Care runs from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and is $75 a week pre-registered. Activities include playground and outside play time (when it's hot out, we'll have the sprinklers running), bead crafts and drawing inside, LEGO-style brick building, and Friday afternoon movies (rated G or PG). Drop-in: Drop-in after care is available for $20/day. There is no need to sign up. Campers not picked up by 3:40 p.m. will be automatically checked into after care. If you know you need drop-in after care, simply let a camp staff member know at drop-off. Late family pick-up: Families who pick up their student after 5:30 will be charged $15 for the first 10 minutes or any portion thereof, and $1 per minute after that. (Example–if someone picks up at 5:35, they will incur a charge of $15. If someone picks up their student at 5:45 they will incur a charge of $20, etc.)

Summer Camp: General Camp MORNING

DescriptionGive your child a Summer camp experience they’ll cherish forever at Charles Wright Academy. Our campus features 107 acres, including maintained forest trails, an outdoor classroom, and state-of-the-art athletics, STEM, and art facilities where CWA offers a breadth of activities for students entering grades 1 through 9. General Camp: In general camp, campers explore the outdoors, visit our arts and crafts specialist, learn from our nature specialist, play field games, and experience a myriad of play-based activities. General camps are also infused with activities from our "theme of the week," keeping each week of general camp fresh throughout the summer! Morning sessions run from 8:30 a.m – 11:30 a.m. Registration includes all activities and a snack. Campers must bring their own water bottle. Camps are based on your camper’s rising grade for the upcoming school year.

Summer Camp: Specialty Camp MORNING (RAINBOW PARROT ART, Rising Grades 1-4)

DescriptionGive your child a Summer camp experience they’ll cherish forever at Charles Wright Academy. Our campus features 107 acres, including maintained forest trails, an outdoor classroom, and state-of-the-art athletics, STEM, and art facilities where CWA offers a breadth of activities for students entering grades 1 through 9. Specialty Camp: Watch your student unleash their creativity in an exciting art journey where they'll craft, create, and captivate. They will explore how to express themselves through diverse art forms and will bring home their masterpieces at the end of the course. Grades 1-5 are welcome, but the ability to work independently is a must. Get ready for your student to paint, draw, and shape unforgettable memories with Rainbow Parrot Art! Please note that Rainbow Parrot Art is a complete half-day camp and does not include time with our nature specialist, field games, etc. Morning sessions run from 8:30 a.m – 11:30 a.m. Registration includes all activities and a snack. Campers must bring their own water bottle. Camps are based on your camper’s rising grade for the upcoming school year.
