BCA

Through hands-on activities, students will collect and interpret data, measure distances and times, compare statistics, and analyze results from their own gameplay. They’ll learn important math concepts such as addition, subtraction, measurement, geometry, fractions, and graphing in a fun, movement-based environment. This promotes both academic growth and physical development. Students will strengthen problem-solving and critical-thinking skills while practicing teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. Art in Motion: Animation & Storytelling
by
BCA
Description
In this hands-on enrichment class, students will explore the magic of storytelling through art and movement. Using paper, clay, and other creative materials, they’ll design characters, create props, and build small sets, learning how to express ideas, emotions, and stories in a visual way. Students will plan their stories with simple storyboards, practice drawing and shaping their characters, and experiment with movement by creating frame-by-frame stop-motion sequences. Photography or tablet use will be minimal and guided, just to capture their work and see it come to life on screen. The focus remains on hands-on creation, imagination, and artistic expression. Throughout the class, students will explore color, texture, form, and composition while developing storytelling skills and learning how art can communicate ideas. By the end of the course, they will have short animated clips, illustrated storyboards, and original characters—all reflecting their creativity, problem-solving, and unique artistic voice. Art in Motion encourages experimentation, collaboration, and self-expression, offering a joyful, engaging journey into the world of animation and visual storytelling.
