DescriptionI have a friend who wants to travel around a city, but she wants to see all of it as fast as possible. Is there a way for her to go all the way around the city, traveling along every road exactly once? What kinds of cities can you do this in? In this after-school program, students have the opportunity to discover the world of graph theory for themselves, the branch of math that answers these kinds of questions. Through collaboration, experimentation, and exploration, this program strives to help to create a genuine love for mathematics and creative problem solving, and help develop independent thinkers who are curious about the world around them.
