Art Wolves- Creature Camp

DescriptionYour child will engage in exciting and inventive art projects with Ms. Singletary every week, learning new skills and having fun, making friends and learning to love Art! Dive into the wild and wonderful world of mythical creatures with the Creature Camp Session, featuring creatures ranging from dragons and fiery phoenixes to flying griffins and textured Sasquatches and yetis, using fun 2D and 3D materials like toilet paper tubes, egg cartons, scrap paper, buttons, sequins, pipe cleaners and more.

Art Wolves - Art from England

DescriptionYour child will engage in exciting and inventive art projects with Ms. Singletary every week, learning new skills and having fun, making friends and learning to love Art! Though a small country, England has captured the interest of the world with its royal family, iconic architecture and obsession with tea. Included in this session are just the lessons that you expect: a Queen’s Guard in a tall bearskin in cap, drawings of famous architecture like St. Paul’s and Tower Bridge and, of course, a unique fish and chips printmaking lesson and more! Please note that you agree to the waiver: I hereby give permission for my child to participate in this after-school class. While all reasonable precautions will be taken to assure my child’s safety and to prevent any injuries from occurring, I will not hold the Instructor, the school or the PTA and its officers and members liable for any accident that may occur. In addition, I grant permission for the instructor, the school, and/or PTA officials to obtain emergency medical care by calling 911 for my child if it appears necessary.

Art Wolves - How's the Weather?

DescriptionYour child will engage in exciting and inventive art projects with Ms. Singletary every week, learning new skills, having fun and learning to love Art! How’s the Weather this session will cover: Whether it’s raining, sunny or snowing, there is art to be made featuring our weather and climate. Artworks will feature the Sun in an oil pastel resist, mittens and snowflakes, animal friends in a landscape with a window; and shapes in clouds, wind-tossed trees and lightning-filled skies, as well as a hurricane seascape and folk art seasonal landscapes, and more! Please note that you agree to the waiver: I hereby give permission for my child to participate in this after-school class. While all reasonable precautions will be taken to assure my child’s safety and to prevent any injuries from occurring, I will not hold the Instructor, the school or the PTA and its officers and members liable for any accident that may occur. Tuesdays this session - from colorful orangutans to cuddly manatees, this session features animals that are either endangered, threatened or vulnerable and in need of conservation help. With a focus on texture, Art Wolves’ imaginations will be going wild as they create visual or actual texture, but also learn about animals that are threatened worldwide. Art Wolves - Art of Japan

DescriptionArt Wolves with Ms. Singletary – Your child will engage in exciting and inventive art projects with Ms. Singletary every week, learning new skills and having fun, making friends and learning to love Art! Tuesdays this session - say “konnichiwa!” to Art Wolves: Art from Japan and enjoy a visual journey to this mountainous island country in East Asia. Students will learn art while creating fun projects that include iconic foods such as a bento collage, a spin on a traditional Japanese toy and a chance to create a carp streamer. There is also a deep affection for nature in Japan, so we will visit the Great Wave and create a Cherry Blossom landscape. Please note that you agree to the waiver: I hereby give permission for my child to participate in this after-school class.
