Musical Theatre Workshop

DescriptionDuring this class, students prepare for a Musical Showcase that will be performed on the Bryan School Stage at the end of this session. Students will audition for their roles, and participate in every aspect of creating the show. Note: The SHOWCASE is planned for Wednesday, December 10, at 4:00pm. This class is NOT connected to any Spring Musical or Theater Week performance at Cresskill High School.

Winter Musical Showcase

DescriptionDuring this class, students prepare for a Musical Showcase that will be performed on the Bryan School Stage at the end of this session. Students will get a script and learn featured songs during their first class. During their second class, they will have audition for a role in the show. Every participant will receive a role. The remainder of classes will be spent rehearsing songs, dances, and dialog in preparation for the showcase. All class participants are invited to perform this play again on the Cresskill High School Stage as part of “THEATER WEEK”. They will practice on the CHS stage the week of March 31 through April 4. The full performance will be on Friday, April 4, 2025. All script materials, props, and costume pieces other than household items will be covered by the cost of the class.
