We will also work on breathing, mediation, and relaxation techniques that can help us focus and release our stress.

Escape Room Experts

DescriptionIn this exciting after-school enrichment class, students will become puzzle designers as they learn how to create their very own digital escape rooms! Using Google Suite tools such as Forms and Drawings, students will practice problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity while building interactive challenges for others to solve. By the end of the session, each student or student group will have designed a unique digital escape room to share with classmates, friends, and family.

Art Around the World

DescriptionThis class will focus on the arts and crafts of countries around the world. We will look at and be inspired to create work based on Native Indian tribes, Africa, Egypt, Japan, China, Australia, Mexico, Sweden and Italy. All materials will be provided as well as an information sheet about each region or culture which will be discussed in class. In addition to having the students do creative and fun art projects each week, they will also have the opportunity to learn about famous artists and arts & crafts of countries around the world.
