Kirstin Hallden has enjoyed being a certified public school (K-8) instructional assistant for eight years. She has worked with a wide variety of students with a wide variety of needs; assisting them to meet their learning goals and beyond in core subjects including Language Arts and Reading. She has also been a substitute art teacher!
She is the homeschooling mother of a 13 year old and has a beautiful cat and many gardens.
She enjoys growing flowers and food, baking, kayaking, writing, nature, art, fitness, and whole foods. She has training in various art techniques and physical fitness through practice and private instruction.
Kirstin's classes explore Creative Writing as an art-form as well as the Core Subjects of Language Arts and Social Studies. Her healthy lifestyle classes link fitness, mindfulness, and positive choices. She has engaging classes for younger students which explore Science and Nature with lessons and crafts; incorporating fine motor skills with learning. Join Kirstin in the journey of exploration!
