DescriptionStudents will read and discuss the Newberry Award winning book, A Wrinkle in Time, by Madeleine L'Engle. In five sessions students will be assigned the reading for each class and t will discuss the sections read previously. Each class will provide insight into the ideas presented and explore ways we have already seen some advances in the concepts, since the book was written in the 1950's.
Students will be encouraged to think of ways dimensional and time travel would impact our lives, if it ever became a reality.
Each Session will include:
1. A summary of the chapters read
2. Group discussion about the content and ideas
3. Questions to assess comprehension
4. Exercises to encourage critical thinking
What to bringA Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. Each student will need a copy of the book. This book can be found in most Libraries if you choose not to purchase a copy.
