About the provider
Hi! My name is Wendy Stanziano and I am a visual arts teacher at a charter school in Florida. I currently teach 4th through 8th grades, but I’ve also been a preschool teacher and a fourth grade classroom teacher for many years. In both my digital and actual my art classrooms, I enjoy sharing stories and projects about art history with my students. We also have fun using digital and traditional art techniques. I graduated college with a BA in Studio Art with a concentration in painting. I sponsor afterschool art and media clubs for students of all ages. At home, we have two children, ages 10 and 13 who endure, I mean ENJOY, having school lessons all summer with Teacher Mom! We also love to travel and find fun and educational outings to museums, zoos, and science centers. I love encouraging students to become “fearless learners” who realize that the journey is far more important than the final destination. In the words of artist, Salvador Dali, “Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it.”
I have been teaching online for about a year and really came to love my online lessons during digital learning this past school year. I cannot wait to meet your child in my classroom!
