Description
Programming is more than just code—it’s a way of thinking that’s useful in any career. In this course, students will discover how coding connects to six exciting paths: Robotics Engineer, Musician, Astronaut, Farmer, Beekeeper, and Pastry Chef. Each lesson blends storytelling and technology, showing how programming can animate characters, compose music, design games, and even create art.
BYOD (Bring Your Own Device):
Students may bring their own iPad or laptop if they have permission to install apps. This isn’t required, but it can be helpful since students often feel more comfortable using their own device and will have continued access to the software at home. Shared devices will be available for anyone who doesn’t bring one.
Minimum Supported Operating Systems:
Chromebook: Chrome OS 114 or newer
Mac: macOS 12 (Monterey) or newer
PC: Windows 10 or newer
Android Phone/Tablet: Android 8 or newer
iPhone/iPad: iOS 13 / iPadOS 13 or newer
Please ensure devices are fully charged and brought to each class with their chargers.
