Description
Come explore the ocean from the lens of a Marine Biologist with Little Medical School – Tampa Bay! By completing projects and experiments, participants will gain an understanding of the ocean, its many inhabitants, and how different organisms interact with their environment. As a class, these future marine biologists will work together to rescue, rehabilitate, and release a model sea turtle. Through hands-on activities and role plays, students will learn about both ocean predators and human threats to sea turtles. They will also rescue and adopt their very own plush sea turtle to care for at home. Take-home items include: plush sea turtle; sea turtle exam form; student-made buoyancy device
