Description
Hummingbird Music School's Ukulele Class is a fun introduction to the ukulele, designed specifically for K-8th graders. The ukulele – also known as “the instrument of peace” – is a great instrument to begin studying music, especially for smaller hands! In this class students will learn an assortment of chords, a variety of finger picking and strumming styles, and will learn to play (and sing along to!) several well-known songs. Each student will have their own soprano ukulele and lesson book (we use the most well-regarded and child-friendly ukulele method). And parents will receive personalized updates from teachers after each class from MySkillChart, which tracks individual student progress through Hummingbird’s curriculum.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation: Hummingbird Music School reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment. If a class is cancelled, students will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another class. If a student does not enroll in another class, they will receive a full refund.
Withdrawal: You may withdraw from a class before or within 24 hours after the first class. Hummingbird Music School will refund the tuition (minus the cost of the first class and a $25 processing fee). No further refunds will be processed after that window.

Giving Flight to the Next Generation of Musicians
We are a group of extraordinary musicians & experienced music educators dedicated to providing quality, customized music education for students of all kinds. We believe that music lessons should be supportive, nurturing & fun. Whether in private lessons, after-school music classes or summer rock band camp, students are given a solid foundation in instrument technique, note and rhythm reading, music theory and music history. But most of all, students experience the joy of playing music.
Our Group Music Classes run for approx. 10 weeks, once a week. Class size is limited to ensure students receive individualized instruction and feedback.
