Description
After a busy school day, Cooking With Friends is the perfect way for kids to recharge and get creative. Each session, we cook 2–4 seasonal, delicious recipes and enjoy them dinner-party style around a set table. This hands-on after-school program brings joy, connection, and real kitchen skills to every session. Students receive an apron and a cookbook with all of the recipes at the end of the course. Below are sample menus from past Cooking With Friends classes and camps: ❄️ Cozy Winter Brunch: Cranberry Brie Bites, Festive Orange and Pomegranate Wreath, Cheery Cheesy Omelette Bites, Fluffy Gingerbread Pancakes, and Sparkly Apple Cider 🪴Garden Dinner Party: Spring Herb Hummus Veggie Gardens, Homemade Farfalle Pasta with Pesto, Flower Pot Chocolate & Mint Cupcakes, & Gingery Shirley Temples ✨Tasty Trends: Garlic Parm Chickle Chips, Tortilla Wrap Hack, Dubai Chocolate Brownies, & Huckleberry Cobbler Sparkling Water 🍄Woodland Creature Feast: Snail Pesto Pinwheels, Lil Caprese Toadstools, Forest Berry Fairy Cakes, Enchanted Edible Twigs, Cheesy the Hedgehog, & Whispering Woods Water Hollis is a former Thurgood Marshall Elementary teacher with over 20 years in the classroom. She's passionate about providing experiences for young children to explore the joys of cooking and eating with friends.
