Description
Kids love to make gifts, and families love to receive them! This special, four-week series of art classes will give 2nd - 5th graders the opportunity to learn new skills and create “giftable” art in a small group setting. Projects may include simple sewing, painting, beading and other fun crafts. Our projects will not be holiday-specific so that all kids can participate, and the Monday and Tuesday series will be similar. Students will be offered a small snack to eat outside the classroom before each session begins.
**Early Arrival OK starting at 2:45pm

About the provider
After School Art Classes with Ms. Petra!
Petra Schumann (“Ms. Petra”) has been teaching art for over a dozen years – eight at Ocean Shore and the past five at Sunset Ridge Elementary School. She brings a broad range of skills to her many enthusiastic students, introducing them to printmaking, ceramics, mixed media sculpture and other art forms that encourage both technical growth and creative confidence. Petra has been a maker since childhood, and crocheting and sewing are currently two of her favorite activities.
