Time to unleash your wild!
📒In this after-school enrichment program, kids will:
• Learn about snake bites and how to conduct first aid on a bite 🐍
• Discover how to stay alive in cold conditions and prevent hypothermia and frostbite ❄️
• Create their own animal track models after learning about what animals they might encounter in the wild 🐻🫎🦆🦌
• Use tools to tie a tourniquet and do a splint on a "broken" leg 🩻
They will receive their own tools like thermal blankets, bandanas, winches, and more to take on the role of an emergency responder. We celebrate with an informal graduation ceremony at the end of the program where kids will receive a personalized Little Medical School diploma!

💻 HOW TO REGISTER ON HOMEROOM:
1. Visit our Homeroom registration page.
2. Select the program(s) you'd like to register for.
3. Enter your student’s information.
4. Submit payment for the registration fee.
❗Please note: When we use Homeroom at Little Medical School®, the "schools" are our service areas. "Stuart" as a "school" has listed all our school partnerships within the Martin area for us at Little Medical School®. The flyer you were given has the direct registration link for the program at your school, which you'll be able to see on the final registration once completed! But you will select "Stuart" as the school throughout the registration process.
💳 FEE SCHEDULE OPTIONS:
* *Full Season* = Pay total fee upfront
* *Regular Schedule* = Pay weekly (billed on Fridays)
💻 HOW TO REGISTER STEP UP STUDENTS:
1. Families create an Education Market Assistant (EMA) account
2. Add student(s), and then apply for the desired program through the EMA platform.
3. Direct payment for services is managed through EMA, and parents/guardians can select and purchase services from approved providers within the EMA Marketplace.
4. Once you're done registering on the EMA portal, you will then come back to register your student(s) for the desired program(s) on Homeroom using the coupon code STEPUP2025!!! during checkout.
We are direct providers for the UA and PEP scholarships and can be searched under "Little Medical School® of the Treasure Coast" for the Stuart area.

📸 Photo release agreement:
I authorize Little Medical School® to take photos or videos of me and/or my child during program participation. These may be used in brochures, ads, websites, social media, or other promotional materials.
I understand:
* Images may be publicly visible.
* Little Medical School® retains ownership and copyright of all media.
* I waive any right to compensation or royalties.
* I may revoke consent in writing at any time (this will not affect prior use or materials already published).
This authorization will remain in effect for 5 years or until the media is no longer in use—whichever comes later. Participation in the program is not conditioned upon signing this agreement.
📜Confidentiality and non-use agreement:
By enrolling, you agree to protect all Little Medical School® content and materials as confidential and proprietary.
You agree:
* Not to reproduce or share materials without written permission
* Not to use Little Medical School® content to compete with or criticize Little Medical School®
* That all materials are the property of Little Medical School®
* That Little Medical School® may seek legal action, including injunctive relief, in the event of a breach
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.

Cancellation policy
Little Medical School® Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as fair and transparent as possible with our policies. The following applies to all in-person classes, programs, and summer camps where registration is handled directly by Little Medical School®.

✅ CANCELLATION BY PARENT/GUARDIAN:
* Full refunds, minus a 10% processing fee, will be granted for cancellations received at least 7 days prior to the program start date.
* Cancellations made fewer than 7 days prior to the program start date are not eligible for a refund.
* No refunds will be issued for missed classes, programs, or summer camp days (including for illness, travel, or scheduling conflicts).
Exceptions will be considered for documented family emergencies or extreme weather conditions (e.g., hurricanes, tropical storms) that result in program cancellation.

❌ STUDENT DISMISSAL FROM PROGRAM:
Students are expected to follow all behavior guidelines outlined in the Student & Parent Policy Packet. Little Medical School® reserves the right to dismiss a student from a program due to:
* Repeated or serious disruptive or disrespectful behavior
* Actions that jeopardize the safety or experience of others
*Dismissals are at the discretion of the Program Director and are NOT subject to refunds

💳 MISSED PAYMENTS:
For families paying weekly registration fees:
* Payments are processed each week via the Homeroom platform.
* If two consecutive payments are missed or not resolved within 1 week of notice, the student may be removed from the program.
* Little Medical School® is not able to hold or reserve program spots in the case of unresolved payments.
* No refunds will be issued for partial attendance due to missed or late payments.
