Description
Willkommen to German Club
Young children learning a new language gain many cognitive, social, and development benefits. Key advantages include enhanced flexible thinking and empathy, improved brain function, and stronger multitasking skills. My personal experience include teaching at the German -American School Association, leading classes for several years. As a German myself it is one of my passions to share my first language and heritage with students.
Inspired by smes students and their interest we will engage in fun and interactive games all while learning a new language. Over the past couple of years, I have found ways to randomly introduce a new word or phrase in German during our daily routines. Students loved it, and chances are your son, or daughter can tell you more about it. For the fall season, I am excited to offer this new club. All beginners are welcome!

Cancellation policy
Class Changes and Cancellations
All class details (dates, times, grade levels, costs, teachers) are subject to change until registration opens.
If a class has low enrollment after registration opens, families will be notified before the first class that the program is at risk of cancellation. We always aim to run each class, but if the minimum number of students is not met, the class may be cancelled.
If a class is cancelled, families will be offered alternative class options for the same day when possible. If no alternative works for your schedule, you will receive a full refund.
Withdrawing and Transfers
Prior to withdrawal deadlines, you may withdraw your child from any class for any reason and receive a full refund. If you wish to transfer your child to a different class, please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate your request. If the new class has higher tuition or materials fees, you will be responsible for the difference.
No refunds or credits will be issued after the following deadlines:
Fall 2025: September 8
Winter 2025: November 14
Spring 2026: February 27
Yearlong Dance Conservatory: September 12
Refunds
If we cancel a class for any reason, a full refund will be issued. No refunds or credits will be given after the deadlines listed above. If you have questions or special circumstances, please reach out to us and we will be happy to discuss options with you.

Extension Programs offer engaging activities—like enrichment classes and clubs, the Dance Conservatory, Parent Night Out events, and more—designed to help students discover new interests, build friendships across grade levels, and develop confidence beyond the standard school day. St. Margaret’s Extension Programs are open to current SMES students in KG through Grade 8, supervised by caring staff who value safety, creativity, and the joy of learning.
