About the provider
Designed by Ms. Alden, the garden teacher; Vine and STEM is an enrichment program for elementary aged kids with a passion for learning about the world around them. We focus on the natural world (Vine) and tie them into our science, math, engineering projects (STEM). We come at each program with the mindset that learning is more affective when it is: fun, hands on, and can be tied to interesting topics. Things like testing the pH in magical potions of Harry Potter, extracting DNA from a strawberry and learning about dinosaurs in Jurassic Science, and making a submarine with milk cartons and syringes are all things we do in our classes. If you are ready to engage both students and parents into a new world of learning then Vine&STEM is for you!
